Ferenc Szarvas, CEO of Hungarian Railways (MÁV) has left the post he assumed in 2010. Szarvas came to MÁV from the Government Debt Management Agency Private Company. The Ministry of National Development accepted Szarvas’s resignation. According to unofficials sources, the new CEO will be Ilona Dávid, who is the current CEO of Győr-Sopron-Ebenfurti Vasút Zrt (GySEV). The appointment is due to take place on May 10.
