The management board of Poland’s leading internet portal Onet.pl is in talks about selling the company to the Ringier Axel Springer Media group. Onet.pl representatives finally confirmed the plan, reports of which originally appeared in the media last June. ITI, which owes TVN TV and Onet, has said it intends to keep its minority stake in the portal. The sides do not rule out setting up a joint venture which would see a gradual acquisition by Axel Springer. An agreement is expected to be signed in May.
