Port Praski sets sail with first building

2 April 2012

Works on the first phase of Port praski project is getting underway at the corner of Krowia, Okrzei and Sierakowskiego Street in the city of Warsaw. The project is one of the biggest investments ever planned along the Vistula river, with 190,000 sqm of office and 90,000 of residential space to be delivered in the capital’s historic district Stara Praga. The project’s first phase is a two-storey office building, that is to be occupied by the Port Praski company, and 30 flats. PBM Południe will run the construction. The investor, Elektrim, expects to deliver the entire project within eight years, assuming the Warsaw’s city hall approves the zoning plan by this June. The investment cost is being kept secret for now, but Elektrim is confident of having the ability to raise the necessary funds.
