Sikorski on Israel and Afghanistan conflict

During a speech to parliament this week, Poland’s Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski outlined his policy objectives in the Middle East for the coming years. Sikorski says Poland is supporting Israel in its right to exist within safe borders, however he has warned against starting a war with Iran. When asked about Poland’s military presence in Afghanistan, Sikorski said the decision to pull out is is expected to be made in a short time. He said he’s been encouraging Israelis and Palestinians to re-start dialogue, but refused to comment on the current situation in Syria.
