The industrial equipment producer Vulcan Bucharest has won a contract worth $54m (€40.9m) in a tender held by the Kuwait Oil Company to produce 210 oil pumping units.
The contract will run for five years.
Vulcan Bucharest is one of the largest suppliers of boilers, industrial equipment and pumping units in Europe. It employs around 900 people. and had turnover of €23m in 2011.
