Following the PLN 50m loss it recorded last year, the Polish insurer Ergo Hestia has made it back to financial health in 2011 a profit of PLN 157m. “It’s a clear signal, that the company is entering the growth path, after a weak 2010,” says Grzegorz Szatkowski, Vice-President of Ergo Hestia. The next year is expected to bring a slower growth, but the company intends to stay in the black also in 2011, “ I expect, this year the growth rate to be at least on market everage.”, he adds.
