Poland’s President Bronisław Komorowski has congratulated Vladimir Putin on his victory in the Sunday’s Presidential elections in Russia. In a statement, President Komorowski emphasized that “Poland and Russia had managed in recent years to establish a dialogue which it used to solve difficult issues and build bilateral cooperation.” The Polish president also said he hopes that relationships with Russian Federation and European Union can become closer. On his website, Komorowski said his statement followed a phone call between the two presidents on Wednesday.
