Poland’s President Bronisław Komorowski met Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic to discuss an upcoming NATO summit, that is planned to be held in Chicago, and over bilateral cross-border cooperation, Polish Press Agency reports.The meeting was held in the Polish city of Witów on Saturday and after it was over, President Komorowski said that the final agreement on the issues is expected to be reached during the further consultations that are to take place in Slovakia, just before the EU’s summit. Komorowski said he’s looking forward to meet Gasparovic expecting that the talks would lead to agreement on a common position of the two countries. President Komoroski said it’s a great pleasure for him to see the Polish-Slovak cooperation. “the fact that we are living in the same world in terms of politics and economy allow for a visible development of friendship and good relations between societies.” he pointed out.
