Węglokoks, one of Poland’s top coal exporters, could enter the Warsaw Stock Exchange this year. The company’s CEO Jerzy Podsiadło says that Węglokoks should be ready for an IPO in autumn. Poland’s deputy of minister of economy, Tomasz Tomczykiewicz, confirms the information, “It’s definitely possible for Węglokoks to debut on the WSE in 2012. The question is whether stock market conditions will allow for a successful IPO,” he said. It would be the third Polish coal producer to go public, following Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa and Bogdanka Węglokoks is to be the next coal producer listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange.
