Poland’s first female Sejm speaker Ewa Kopacz is leaving today on a two-day visit to Prague in order to meet with Czech president Vaclav Klaus and Miroslava Nemcova, the Speaker of the Czech Chamber of Deputies, according to the Polish Press Agency. The meeting with President Klaus, the Czech PM deputy and with Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg is scheduled for Thursday. Kopacz will meet Czech officials to discuss a common position on EU most urgent issues, such as the ongoing financial crisis, the fiscal pact and ACTA. During its visit Kopacz will also lay flowers on the tomb of the late Vaclav Havel.
