Logivest has facilitated the acquisition of a logistics property exceeding 15,000 square meters for BLG LOGISTICS in Mülheim an der Ruhr.
In a bid to expand its Krefeld location, BLG sought a property with excellent connectivity. Located less than 30 kilometers from its Krefeld branch, the new property is situated directly on the B1 federal highway, with the nearby Breitscheid motorway junction providing access to the A3, A52, and A524 highways.
“The A524 offers quick access to the BLG branch in Krefeld. Additionally, the motorway junction directly connects to the Rhine metropolises of Duisburg, Cologne, and Düsseldorf, making it an ideal location for any logistics company,” says Kresimir Basic, Head of Industrial and Logistics Letting at Logivest NRW GmbH.
“We conducted an intensive search to find a property that met all the specific logistical and economic requirements of our customer, a world-leading provider of intelligent transport solutions. We are delighted to have secured a suitable property in Mülheim with the support of Logivest,” says Fabian Sieweke, Regional Manager North Rhine-Westphalia at the BLG Group in the CONTRACT division.
The existing property features ramp access, is designed for a single tenant, and is fully fenced with a sliding gate system for security. BLG LOGISTICS, which has signed a long-term lease for the site, plans to move in by July 2024.
