CTP has leased over 100,000 sqm of logistics space across its Hungarian business parks to a leading Chinese automotive logistics specialist.
The new tenant, serving major e-automotive companies in Europe, is expanding in multiple CTParks in Hungary. Their distribution center will be located in CTPark Budapest West, Hungary’s largest CTPark with nearly 300,000 sqm of floorspace and plans for an additional 80,000 sqm. This park features Hungary’s first Outstanding BREEAM-certified building and is strategically located near major highways and Budapest.
Additionally, the tenant is extending its space at CTPark Komárom, located near the Hungarian-Slovakian border and major European cities, making it ideal for manufacturing and warehousing.
The CEE region has become a key automotive manufacturing hub, surpassing Germany in car production in 2022. The region’s car production has increased by 50% over the past eight years due to strong Foreign Direct Investment.
Ferenc Gondi, Managing Director for CTP Hungary, said, “The CEE, and Hungary especially, is becoming an increasingly strategic location for the automotive industry. We are thrilled that our business partner has chosen our CTParks to expand its operations.”
Hungary’s central location, robust infrastructure, and investor-friendly policies have attracted significant investment, making it a prime logistics and manufacturing hub in Central-Eastern Europe.
