Private schools are the method by which real estate developers want to attract customers to residential projects. In the last year alone, eight private school projects were announced and even opened in the Capital.
The new residential districts, but also the office areas, attracted and are attracting investments in private schools, in the context where the sector municipalities issued building permits, but did not come forward with investments in new schools to support the expansion.
“Offices have been developed in the Exhibition area and in Press Square, and adjacent residential is needed. The education infrastructure helps a lot in shaping this residential pole. The Deutsche Schule is already there, in the vicinity we have the European School of Bucharest and the growing Genesis College. The education component for any residential area is a very important one, a basic one without which sustainable development cannot be achieved”, explained Cosmin Savu-Cristescu, CEO of Redport, developer of The Level and Infinity Nord residential projects.
