The company Moldovan Carmangerie, active in the meat industry and part of a group of companies founded and controlled by the Moldovan family, will invest around 16.8 million euros in a new production unit in the town of Sânnicoara in Cluj county.
“It is an investment in a new production infrastructure integrated with a fully automatic logistics warehouse. We will no longer develop the cooked-smoked sausages part because habits are changing. This production unit is thought of in a completely different way, we will make more semi-prepared products. There will be more sophisticated products for future more sophisticated consumers,” said Cosmin Moldovan, general director of Carmangeria Moldovan.
The company submitted a project to access funds worth almost EUR 7 million.
