Avison Young appoints Adrian Crizbășianu, former executive at DB Schenker and VGP, as the new Head of Industrial & Logistics Agency.
“We are entering a stage of maturity in the logistics and industrial real estate market. This is an ideal moment to enhance Avison Young’s capabilities by bringing onboard an executive with relevant experience for the market’s direction of development. Client demands are increasing, projects are becoming more complex, and Adrian is one of the few professionals who, thanks to his background, can combine, for the benefit of AY partners, both extensive expertise in the real estate sector and a deep understanding of the specific operational needs of clients in the logistics and industrial sector,” says David Canta, Principal, Romania & Czech Republic – Avison Young.
Adrian Crizbășianu worked for over 15 years at the transportation and logistics service provider DB Schenker, occupying various management roles, the last 7 years as COO (Chief Operating Officer) and member of the executive board. In 2020, he took the helm of the logistics and industrial spaces developer VGP in Romania, coordinating the local team for two years, focusing on the company’s national expansion by initiating constructions in new parks in Bucharest, Brașov, and Arad.
“Avison Young is the team where I found shared principles and values: collaboration, agility, entrepreneurial spirit oriented towards performance and opportunity. The logistics and industrial developments sector continues its growth trend, and the convergence with practices from mature markets, strategic repositioning of supply chains post-Covid, infrastructure improvements, as well as joining Schengen will bring new investment opportunities for Romania and will create new development destinations. To fully leverage these opportunities, we aim to be a partner our clients can rely on, not just from a consultative perspective, but especially when it comes to project implementation and execution,” adds Adrian Crizbășianu, Head of Industrial & Logistics – Avison Young.
