The Sud Rezidential real estate consulting company bought a package of 15 apartments from the businessman Daniel Dumitru Sava in two projects developed by him in the Metalurgie area, Bucharest. In an effort to broaden the real estate selection in the broker’s primary market area—the southern portion of the Capital—they will be rented out as hotels.
“Kristal Collection is a pilot project that we will launch from March 15. We invested over EUR 1 million in the purchase and fitting out of 15 apartments in the two Kristal Metalurgiei and The Grand Kristal projects, plus cars. We started to receive authorizations from the Ministry of Tourism for hotel operation. We have set up a customer reception office on the ground floor of one of The Grand Kristal’s blocks, where we also have a cafe. The reason for creating this product is the desire to diversify Sud Rezidential services. We will offer the possibility of short or long-term rental,” said Cătălin Grigore, one of the owners of Sud Rezidential.
“If we are successful with this project, we plan to extend this service to other projects in our portfolio. We have reserved two more floors in the first block of the next phase of development of The Grand Kristal, which will add another 22 apartments to the collection. These will be included in our offer in about two years,” explained Grigore.
