The Austrian company CCE Holding is starting the construction of its first photovoltaic park in Romania, located in the northwest of the country, which will produce green electricity for almost 25,000 households in the future.
The Horia1 photovoltaic power plant of 40 MWp will be connected to the Romanian electricity grid until the fall of 2024. An Austrian partnership was concluded with Raiffeisen Bank International to finance the project.
Currently, CCE already holds project rights for a total capacity of 980 MW in Romania. In total, ten photovoltaic power plant projects are in various stages of development.
