21 December 2023

Erbud Group will consolidate its business in the industrial service area in Poland by merging Erbud Industry Centrum and Erbud Industry Południe, the company announced.

The merger of the two service companies is the result of a multi-stage analysis process in response to the expectations of customers, investors and the rapidly changing market environment. The joining of forces aims to create an even more competitive entity, ready to meet the growing challenges of the sector, the company said..

“The decisions taken years ago to enter the service area and the subsequent company acquisitions have created a strong business leg in the Group’s diversified structure. We have done a thorough review and analysis of our business, we are tidying up and consolidating our portfolio, we are standardising our procedures in order to grow even faster thanks to synergies. The greatest value of our service companies is the excellent team of engineers and specialists with unique competences. We want to create the best possible working environment for them and strengthen cooperation between the twin units, ultimately making them one organism,” said Erbud Group CEO Dariusz Grzeszczak..

“We are convinced that this strategic merger will foster the development of both companies and will benefit both clients and the entire service sector. Respecting the heritage and values of both companies, we look forward to an effective integration. This consolidation will enable us to better leverage our potential and focus on the most innovative solutions, meeting the needs of our customers in a more coordinated way,” said Pawel Zaorski, CEO of the combined companies.

The industrial services segment is a strong branch of the Erbud Group’s business, and the combined revenue of the segment in Poland and Germany in the first three quarters of this year increased by 16% y-o-y. Domestic and international business are growing at a similar rate, it also indicated.

The company stressed that Erbud Industry is a strong brand in the service market. The Group’s structure formally consisted of two entities – Erbud Industry Centrum, based in Łódź, and Erbud Industry Południe, based in Rybnik. They offer comprehensive facility maintenance services as well as repairs and modernisation of machinery, equipment, process lines, installations and tanks. They specialise in power, heat and electrical installations and equipment, Control and Measurement Instruments and Automation, as well as industrial and municipal installations. They also offer organisational and technical advice. The Group’s two Polish service companies employ 560 people in 12 locations, serving more than 50 customers annually.

Erbud is also active in the industrial service area in Germany, where it has two companies – IVT in Oberhausen, acquired in 2018, and IKR in Bitterfeld, which it bought from German giant Bilfinger. The two German companies employ more than 500 people at six locations..

The company also pointed out that Erbud has been intensifying its segmental and geographical diversification process for years. The company’s sales structure is evolving from a traditional construction company into a multi-segment industrial and technology company. With a stable order book in cubic capacity, other segments – such as RES, engineering, service for industry or the MOD21 start-up under development in the area of zero-emission timber modular construction – are growing successively.

The Erbud Group is a Polish construction group providing services in the residential, commercial, public utility and engineering and energy segments in Poland and European countries. It has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since 2007; it is part of the sWIG80 index. It had consolidated revenues of PLN 3.86 billion in 2022.
