Water and sewerage charges will rise by about 11 percent in the Olomouc and Prostějov regions next year. In Olomouc, people will pay CZK 51.97 for a cubic metre of drinking water without VAT and CZK 56.37 for sewerage, a total of CZK 108.34. In the Prostějov region, water will cost CZK 58.36 and sewerage CZK 57.93 from 1 January. Consumers in the Prostějov region will pay CZK 116.29 per cubic metre of delivered and discharged drinking water. Markéta Bártová, a spokeswoman for Moravská vodárenská announced today.
