Prima Development, owned by businessman Stefan Kopanyi, has started the permitting of a major residential development with 490 apartments near the Steaua stadium in Sector 6 of the capital, an investment estimated at EUR 50 million.
The property developer paid around EUR 6.5 million for the land purchase in October 2022, in a transaction brokered by real estate consultancy Crosspoint Real Estate.
“The project will have 490 apartments, service spaces on the ground floor and duplexes on the top floors. A nursery will also be set up on the ground floor. We have started the authorisation procedure, we have the urban planning certificate and we are about to start the approval procedure. We have an architectural concept competition underway for the facades of the buildings. We expect to get the authorisation by the end of next year and then we will start construction. The buildings will have a central heating system and the construction will be built to Nzeb standard, which will result in reduced energy consumption for heating and cooling,”
