UBM Development Czechia has completed two more apartment buildings in the Arcus City residential complex. Buildings E and F comprise 50 apartments with layouts from 1 bedroom to 4 bedrooms. All of them have been sold and will soon be handed over to new owners. The developer is currently continuing with the construction of the second phase (buildings G, H, I) and the unique Timber Prague project, which represents the first wooden multi-storey apartment buildings in the modern history of the capital city. The sale of the Arcus City project is being handled exclusively by the real estate agency Lexxus Norton.
“We are registering great interest in apartments in our largest residential project in Prague. We sold out the first stage of Arcus City before the building was completed, which is a great success at the moment,” says Alice Slámová, marketing and sales director of UBM Development Czechia, adding: “We are not letting up in our efforts. Thanks to the implementation of the second phase and the recently launched Timber Prague project of modern wooden apartment buildings, we can offer those interested in living in this location additional units with a layout of 1 + kk to 4 + kk in a high standard and with a beautiful view of the surrounding area.”
Work is also progressing rapidly on timber apartment buildings.
UBM is building the second phase in the central part of Arcus City with buildings G, H, I, which includes 63 apartments with layouts from 1-bedroom to 4-bedroom, ranging in size from 38.9 sqm to 101 sqm. Its rough construction has recently been completed. There is also a small square with a relaxation area and shops. Completion is planned for the 4th quarter of 2024.
Following the example of its Austrian parent company, which aims to become the largest developer of timber buildings in Europe, UBM Development Czechia is also developing the Timber Prague project within Arcus City, the first wooden multi-storey apartment buildings in the modern history of Prague. Each of the 62 units with layouts from 1 + kk to 4 + kk and sizes from 39 m2 to 110 m2, as well as the entire Arcus City project, comes with its own cellar, parking space in underground garages and a balcony, terrace or front garden. “In the project, we aim to provide future owners with quality, energy-efficient housing and at the same time implement the construction in an environmentally friendly manner. The benefits of building with wood include carbon sequestration, thereby reducing carbon dioxide and carbon footprint. Timber Prague is living with good energy because wood, as a natural material, has a positive effect on the human psyche. Interested buyers are given access to the site and a tour of the apartments to see the quality and uniqueness of living in a timber building. The houses are equipped with energy-saving technologies such as heat pumps, photovoltaic panels, geothermal boreholes, external blinds on windows, underfloor heating that not only heats but also cools, and smart home systems,” describes Alice Slámová. In keeping with its strategic motto “green, smart and more”, UBM will build the project to BREEAM Excellent environmental certification and with an energy certificate in the most economical category A. Construction is scheduled for completion in Q4 2024.
Pleasant location surrounded by greenery.
The Arcus City residential complex is being built on the border of the Prague districts of Stodůlky and Řeporyje and will become a new home for 270 families. The commercial units being built on the ground floor of the GHI buildings have been sold and will offer grocery stores and services to the surrounding area. The entire complex will be completed in 2025.
Future residents will appreciate the close proximity to nature, all amenities and good transport accessibility. Nearby there are schools, kindergartens, restaurants, post office, supermarkets and other shops. A bus stop will be built in Arcus City, connecting the area with metro stations B – Stodůlky and Luka, which will provide residents with a quick connection to the centre of Prague (about 20 min). You can go for walks in the nearby Prokopské and Dalejské valleys or in the Řepora Biopark.
