IPEC Alba Iulia, one of Europe’s largest porcelain plate manufacturers, plans to invest EUR 10 million in a porcelain cup production facility. The factory will also be located in Alba Iulia, where the company’s current production facility is located, and construction is due to start next year.
“If everything goes as expected, we plan to build the most modern cup factory in the world, and we want to build it in Alba Iulia. If all goes well, construction will start next year. The factory could be ready in six months, the important thing is not to get bogged down with various permits,” says Cristian Covaciu, co-founder and shareholder of IPEC.
IPEC Alba Iulia was founded in 1990 by entrepreneur Cristian Covaciu.
