TMF Group is open to acquisitions in Poland and plans to hire another 100 people, according to Mark Weil, CEO of TMF Group.
“We already employ more than 1,100 people in Poland in Warsaw and Katowice, more than half of them in our European Development Center. Our business is growing rapidly. We support our clients in markets that are attractive for investment, but with challenges such as legislation. We want to grow both in terms of employment and revenues generated in the Polish market. We assume employment of another 100 people,” said Weil.
At the same time, he pointed out that the company has doubled its employment in Poland in 3 years and may expand the team twice in the next 3 years to 2,000 employees.
“We specialize in servicing corporations operating in Poland, but carrying out international projects. Our business is not affected by current political or economic issues. We are growing despite, for example, the COVID-19 pandemic. Our clients need support in day-to-day operations regardless of conditions. That is why we are also present in Ukraine. As for Poland, I still think we are a relatively small company here, considering the economy and the presence of multinationals in it, so I expect our business to grow here,” stated the CEO.
In 2016, TMF acquired accounting services company Extor in the Polish market, among others.
“We have already completed an acquisition in Poland and are open to more acquisitions. The market is fragmented. It’s risky for many concerns because of the different standards of various service providers. Customers will look for fewer service providers and TMF fits this need with its comprehensiveness,” Weil assessed.
At the same time, he stressed that strategically TMF Group wants to strengthen its position as a reliable partner in efficiently supporting its customers’ operations.
“Great service is a guarantee of our growth. Fulfilling this condition means the joint success of us and our customers. In addition to standard services, they require support in more complex areas like capital markets requirements or ESG reporting. We want to provide them with value for their further development while effectively managing their business risks,” concluded the CEO.
TMF Poland has been providing services from its offices in Warsaw and Katowice for more than 20 years. The international management team consists of more than a thousand specialists in accounting, tax compliance, entity management (corporate secretariat), payroll and HR, and serves clients both locally and internationally.
