Brama Jury will be the first shopping center with a four-screen Planet Cinema in Zawiercie, Silesia, in the heart of the Krakow-Czestochowa Jurassic Highland. The developer has received a valid building permit and has begun commercializing the space.
The new retail concept in Zawiercie is a combination of a classic shopping mall with arcade and a retail park in one location. The 14,500 sqm area will include 40 stores with an offer of fashion, sports and footwear brands, as well as a food supermarket, a store of household electronics and home accessories outlets. In the entertainment section, customers of Jurassic Gate will benefit from a four-screen Planet Cinema and an offer of restaurants and cafes. A parking lot for about 550 cars is also planned.
The commercialization model for Brama Jury assumes a combination of brands and industries operating in the firmly established MMG facilities in Ciechanów, Kutno and Elk. Residents will gain access to stores previously absent from the city, as well as an offer of service outlets and restaurants. “Hybrid shopping centers, understood as a combination of a classic shopping mall and a retail park, are the cornerstone of our portfolio and have been successfully delivering results, which is why we decided to base the project in Zawiercie on this concept. The advantage of such a solution is a simple and clear layout, and a spacious walkway in the center will create space
for business development of local entrepreneurs. Locating all stores on one level and entering the center directly from the parking lot in front of the building will make shopping in Brama Jury will be comfortable and pleasant,” says Anna Polak, Head of Leasing at Master Management Group.
Brama Jury is being built in a very attractive location – on Wojska Polskiego Street, the city’s main thoroughfare, connecting to Zawiercie’s western bypass and the A1 route. This is a section of national road No. 78. A traffic circle is located near the investment, leading drivers in the direction of Katowice and Częstochowa, as well as to the center of Zawiercie. The new retail facility will be built near the economic zone, right next to a Mc Donald’s restaurant and a gas station.
“Customers today value quick shopping in retail parks, but they also want access to the attractions of shopping malls. There is no similar facility in Zawiercie yet. Jura’s Gate will respond to these expectations,” adds Anna Polak.
Short distances and good rail and long-distance bus transportation make Zawiercie that Zawiercie is an excellent starting point to the most attractive areas of the Krakow-Czestochowa Upland. Popular hiking and biking trails intersect here, including the “Eagles’ Nests” Trail and the “Jurassic Warriors” Trail. That’s why the city’s location at the source of the Warta and Black Przemsza rivers is referred to as the “Gateway to Jura.”
