Sales of new flats on Poland’s seven largest markets totalled 5.7 thousand in August this year, according to Otodom Analytics. The supply of new flats last month amounted to 2.8 thousand.
Sales of new flats in Poland’s 7 largest markets in August 2023 amounted to 5.7 thousand, which means that developers have sold a total of 36.6 thousand units since the beginning of the year – just 4% less than in the whole of 2022. In contrast, supply from January to August totalled 24.4 thousand, 33% less than sales. In the largest cities, the symbolic time for the offer to sell out shrank to 4-5 months. [Developers continue to bring in less than they sell. After two months of markedly better supply, the number of flats launched in August fell to the level of the spring and amounted to just 2.8 thousand in the seven largest markets, according to Otodom.
The number of flats available for purchase is the lowest since January 2022 and now stands at 37,800, it also stated.
