Renáta Kellnerová and her family now own the entire PPF investment group

Renáta Kellnerová and her family now own the entire PPF investment group. They have bought out the roughly half-percent stakes held by Ladislav Bartoníček and Jean-Pascal Duvieusart. PPF said on its website today that it did not disclose the financial circumstances of the transaction. Renáta, the widow of PPF Group founder Petr Kellner, and Kellner’s four children became the majority owners of PPF after the death last year of Petr Kellner, the richest Czech.

According to its website, PPF owned assets worth EUR 40 billion (more than CZK 960 billion) at the end of last year. Kellner and her late husband’s four children still held a 98.93 percent stake in PPF. “Mrs Renáta Kellnerová and her family, together with her daughters Anna Kellnerová, Lara Kellnerová, Maria Kellnerová and Petr Kellner Jr, have bought out the minority shares of the other shareholders of PPF Group, Ladislav Bartoníček (0.535 per cent) and J.-P. Duvieusart (0.535 per cent), through a company wholly owned by them, and have thus become 100 per cent owners of PPF Group,” PPF said.
