NFZ to occupy nearly 5,000 sqm at Malta Office Park

Malta Office Park, a Poznan office complex managed by EPP, has acquired a new key tenant. An area of 4,900 sq m has been leased to the Wielkopolska Regional Branch of the National Health Fund, which chose this location based on specific requirements, appreciating the professionalism of the manager’s team as well as the substantial and refined offer. The space will be adapted to the requirements and standards of the NFZ. A dedicated customer service room will be created on the ground floor, while floors 3, 4, 5 will house the tenant’s office.

The National Health Fund is a state organisational unit which, in the system of universal health care, deals with the financing of health care services. The NFZ has been operating in Poland for 20 years.

The process of selecting the new location of the Poznań branch, which lasted many months, was complex and based on specific guidelines. Nuvalu, a consultancy specialising in cooperation with State Treasury entities and local government institutions, was also involved in the negotiations. The agency’s task was primarily to support the coordination of the process and provide substantive advice to the parties.

Tenants who take up cooperation with Malta Office Park appreciate, among others, the location of the building in the surroundings of green areas, proximity to extensive transport infrastructure, the manager’s individual approach, as well as care for the highest standards related to sustainable development or occupational health and safety.

“Our complex is unique in many respects. It was the first in the world to obtain BREEAM In Use v.6 2020 International certification, which not only confirms that the facility meets high pro-environmental standards and is managed in a responsible and sustainable manner, but also obliges us to act for the benefit of the local community, which we have been consistently doing,” says Sylwia Piechnik, Head of Office Leasing in EPP, adding, “In the talks with NFZ, the flexibility with which we approach the business needs of our tenants was also important. In this case, in addition to comfortable office space, there will be space on the ground floor dedicated to the tenant’s clients. A significant convenience – for both employees and petitioners – will be the easy availability of parking spaces organised on the basis of the LPR system”.

The tenant will move into the building in mid-2024. The leased space covers floors 0, 3, 4 and 5. The parties have signed an agreement for 10 years.

Malta Office Park is owned by Henderson Park (70% share) and EPP (30%), which is also responsible for managing the complex.
