Just 30 minutes by car south of Magdeburg, Logivest has brokered a logistics hall with around 7,600 square metres of warehouse space for Stöhr Logistik GmbH. The property in Hecklingen is the second lease in the east of Germany for the logistics service provider from Baden-Württemberg. From here, it will handle the logistics of an internationally active aluminium manufacturer that has a plant in the neighbouring town.
After a location in Hettstedt, Stöhr Logistik GmbH now has its second location in Saxony-Anhalt. There has already been a long cooperation with the customer in the transport sector and now this is also being expanded in the area of warehouse logistics. The warehouse in Hecklingen also results in further synergy effects for Stöhr Logistik GmbH. The aim is to further expand business activities in this region in particular over the next few years.
Due to the proximity to the customer location, but also the equipment of the hall, which can be accessed by trucks via ground-level gates, the former cargo hall in Harzstr. 3 is ideally suited for the logistics service provider. In addition, there is sufficient expansion space on the site for a possible additional built-to-suit solution for the logistics service provider.
The direct connection via the B180 trunk road to the A36 motorway is also ideal for the transports. “The Harz foothills are an often still underestimated area for logistics. The central location in Germany, the good motorway connections and, above all, the availability of space will increase demand in this region in the coming years,” says Sven Setzekorn, Consultant Industrial & Logistics Letting at Logivest in Magdeburg.
The occupation of the space is still planned for July 2023.
