Globalworth Poland leased 48,000 sqm in the first half of this year

20 July 2023

Globalworth concluded 93 leases in Poland in the six months of 2023, totalling nearly 48,000 sqm. This very good leasing performance is the result of the finalisation of new office and mixed-use contracts, the extension of existing contracts and the increase of space by tenants.

Among the 93 agreements signed in the first half of this year on the Polish market, 40 contracts – for more than 18,000 sqm. – concern new leases and an increase in leased space by existing tenants present in Globalworth buildings.

Globalworth’s extensive portfolio in Poland, consisting of 22 properties in prime locations in Warsaw and in the five largest regional cities, means that we are able to provide clients with a unique offer tailored to their needs, specific industry or scale of operations. Our differentiators include not only the various variants of available space, but also long-term landlord support and a whole range of additional services provided by our teams, such as the design and implementation of fit-outs offered by the Workplaces department. The very good leasing result for the first half of the year, including contract extensions and expansions, is an expression of tenants’ appreciation of our continuous investment in the redevelopment and modernisation of existing buildings, as well as the ongoing activities related to ESG issues or the development of new technologies through the Globalworth App implemented in our buildings,” said Artur Apostol, Managing Director – Real Estate Operations Poland at Globalworth Poland.

Companies that decided to continue their cooperation with Globalworth in Poland in the first six months of this year included Vonage (1,000 sq m) in Wrocław’s Retro Office House and BNI (3,300 sq m) in Warsaw Trade Tower.

In turn, from the new leases, it is worth mentioning the agreements with, among others, the consulting firm Olesiński i Wspólnicy (2,200 sq m) in Wrocław’s Renoma, or LeverX Group (3,200 sq m) and Zagrywki (1,300 sq m) in Retro Office House.
