The Dr Irena Eris company is planning to build another hotel, with Świnoujście selected as the location, the company’s CEO Paweł Orfinger said. The construction of the hotel may take place beyond the prospect of 24mths.
“We have a plot of land in Świnoujście and this is a potential site to open another hotel in the long term. At the moment we are at the stage of changing the zoning plan, we are creating a project, a concept for a hotel. Another hotel will most likely be built there, but not in the next two years,” Orfinger said during the press conference.
He added that in terms of the source of funding for the hotel investment, “it’s too early to think about that at the moment because of the stage of the initial concept”.
“I think it will not be financing from our own resources. We certainly don’t want to use funds raised from the offering for this purpose,” the CEO said.
The company owns three hotels: Hotel SPA Dr Irena Eris Krynica Zdrój, Hotel SPA Dr Irena Eris Wzgórza Dylewskie, Hotel SPA Dr Irena Eris Polanica Zdrój.
The cosmetics segment also includes Dr Irena Eris Cosmetic Institutes and Dr Irena Eris Beauty Partner, which have been developed for over 20 years. Currently, the Group has a total of 27 salons, run mainly in the franchise model (5 own salons, 3 salons in Dr Irena Eris SPA Hotels, 12 city institutes and 7 developed in the Dr Irena Eris Beauty Partner concept in four- and five-star hotels).
The public offering of up to 11 million new Dr Irena Eris shares, from which the company intends to raise approximately PLN 140 million and the sale of up to approximately 1.5 million existing shares, begins today with the start of subscriptions from individual investors and book building among institutional investors (both processes will last until 27 June, the prospectus stated. The maximum price for individual investors (who may be allotted up to 10% of the offered shares) has been set at PLN 12.8 per unit.
Dr Irena Eris Group is one of the leading Polish cosmetics producers and the owner of brands recognised in Poland and worldwide: Dr Irena Eris, Pharmaceris, Emotopic, Lirene and Under Twenty. Last year, the company took over the family company Sulphur – a manufacturer of medicines and spa cosmetics produced from natural healing minerals: sulphide waters and peat. The company is also the operator of a chain of luxury hotels under the brand name Hotele SPA Dr Irena Eris.
