Carrefour gives up 24% of the office space in its headquarters in Bucharest

11 April 2023

Carrefour has given up 24 percent of the office space in its headquarters in the Green Court building in Bucharest, owned by Globalworth. Employees work in a hybrid system and come to the office three days a week.
If in 2015 the retailer rented almost 7,000 sqm, the lease was extended, but for a smaller area of 5,300 sqm.

“Carrefour has implemented a hybrid way of working for employees at the headquarters, with three days a week from the office or from any hub, giving them the opportunity to choose where to carry out their activity. The decision was made following a series of workshops and feedback from employees to identify local solutions suitable for both people and business, both at the local level of the organization and the group,” declared Alina Gamauf, Director of Human Resources, Corporate Affairs & CSR Carrefour Romania.
