Atal Group contracted 406 apartments in Q1 2023; full year similar to 2022

Atal Group contracted 406 apartments in Q1 2023, with a noticeable increase in interest in the offer since the beginning of March this year, which translated into contracting. At the end of Q1 2023, the group had 246 active reservation contracts. This year’s sales plans call for contracting at a level similar to the 2022 result, when the group concluded 2091 development and preliminary agreements, the company said.

In the individual months of Q1 2023, the company signed the following quantities of currently active contracts:
– in January 2023: 63 development and preliminary agreements,
– in February 2023: 109 development and preliminary agreements,
– in March 2023: 234 development and preliminary agreements.

“In line with our predictions, in March this year we observed increased interest in our offer from potential buyers. Customers mostly inquired about units from developments expected to be completed within 12 months. We expect that starting in the spring, due to, among other things, more lenient bank policies in the context of mortgages, our proprietary ‘Time for a Flat’ program and the announcement of a new government support program, contracting should be higher than it has been so far,” said CEO Zbigniew Juroszek said.

The company pointed out that customers joining the ‘Czas na mieszkanie’ program, sign a developer’s agreement without any risk, which obliges them to pay 20% of the apartment’s value and at the same time guarantees an unchanged price. Until the end of September 2023, withdrawal from the contract due to failure to obtain financing will not entail the loss of any part of the down payment made at the beginning.
