Lidl is preparing a new logistics center in Nedelea, Romania, Prahova county, which will have a total built area of 38,000 sqm. The Lidl Nedelea Logistics Center is the first Lidl logistics center in Romania located in Ploiesti West Park.
Recently, Lidl announced that it is opening the largest logistics center in its portfolio in Romania, in Fundeni commune, Călărași county. The new warehouse, located near the A2 highway, will supply more than 55 stores in the south and southeast of the country. It covers a total built area of over 56,000 sqm and a land area of over 173,000 sqm, thus being the largest warehouse in Lidl’s portfolio.
Lidl currently operates more than 12,000 stores and more than 200 logistics centers and warehouses in 31 countries.
