Wolf Theiss advised Duvenbeck Group in connection with the sale of land and the lease of the logistics centre ARETE Park Rokycany 2, which will be newly constructed in Rokycany, Czech Republic, by a company from the ARETE investment group.
The new park will create a total of 30,000 sqm of modern storage and office space, and the investment will exceed EUR 40 million. The project will comply with modern ESG standards. Duvenbeck Group, one of the leading providers of transport and logistics solutions in Europe, will be the single long-term tenant. The logistics centre is expected to be fully operational starting in January 2024.
Wolf Theiss negotiated and drafted the sale and lease-back transactional documentation and provided related transactional advisory services.
“The transaction was particularly interesting for us, as this was our first real estate project for the Duvenbeck Group after its acquisition by Waterland. We are very pleased that we could participate in this challenging transaction and support our client on the sale and lease back of the logistics centre,” commented Barbora Malimánková.
“For the Duvenbeck Group, this is a strategic project that will be one of the most important in Central Europe. We are delighted that a fund from the ARETE group is the developer and owner of the industrial park. We appreciate the high-level expertise of the entire ARETE group team, which was able to prepare a project that met all of our requirements in a relatively short time. The excellent location of the park fits precisely into the network of key European warehousing and distribution centres of the group,” stated Oliver Röhl, Managing Director, Duvenbeck Czech Republic.
