The owner of the 4F brand – OTCF S.A. in January this year moved into the newest B1 office building in the Kraków project developed by White Star Real Estate and Cain International – The Park Kraków. In doing so, the company consolidated its existing offices in Krakow and Wieliczka and officially moved its headquarters to 25C Saska Street in Krakow. The owner of Poland’s largest sports brand has taken over 8,200 sqm of space, occupying 4 of the 6 floors available in the building. Trzop Architekci studio was responsible for the interior design of the new OTCF office.
OTCF S.A. is one of the largest employers in Małopolska. It specializes in the design, production and sale of sportswear, footwear and accessories, dedicated to professional athletes and amateurs. The leading brand in the company’s portfolio is 4F – a brand present in 47 countries around the world, whose ambassadors include Anna and Robert Lewandowski. For more than 10 years, 4F has been a sponsor of the Polish Olympic and Paralympic teams and several European Olympic Committees. OTCF is also developing its own 4F Fuel line of functional foods and supplements, the 4F Junior and Outhorn brands, the SportStyleStory chain of multibrand sports stores, and the 4F Spot healthy food restaurant. It is the exclusive distributor of Under Armour in the Polish market, and has been running the 4F Helps Foundation since 2020.
“The consolidation of OTCF’s two largest offices – the existing headquarters in Wieliczka and the branch office in Krakow – is a key step in the development of our company. The four floors of The Park Krakow complex house, among other things, functional work and meeting spaces, a state-of-the-art laboratory of the quality department, a showroom for all our brands, pattern rooms of the clothing and footwear design departments, a photo studio or a sewing room. The convenient location of the complex near public transportation, bicycle paths and with convenient car access from Wieliczka, where our previous headquarters were located, was an additional advantage for us in choosing the new location. Thus, we are starting a new chapter in the company’s history,” stresses Igor Klaja, President of OTCF S.A.
“Due to the profile that OTCF presents, specializing in the creation and production of sportswear for professionals and amateurs, the main inspiration for the interior concept for the company’s headquarters could not be anything other than the world’s biggest sports event, the Olympic Games.
The color scheme dominating the design uses the 5 colors from the Olympic circles. We used black as a consistent element, combined on each of the 4 floors with the following colors: green, red, blue and yellow. The chosen floor color appears in the form of delicate accents in, among other things, the aluminum profiles of the glass walls or in strips imitating treadmills on the floors in the office’s main passageways.
A distinctive and distinctive part is the showroom for the presentation of all new 4F collections and other brands from the company’s portfolio. The planes of the room are intended to provide a neutral background for displaying products, hence the entire interior was designed in white. A large amount of greenery suspended in special structures from the ceiling alludes to greenness and sustainability, which is an important element in the company’s policy.
The casual workstations built in the space in the Agail work model are connected by a flexible space of common areas for informal and formal meetings, which provides an excellent base for the hybrid work model.
The heart of the office and the element that connects all floors is the internal staircase, topped on the top floor with a large canteen, which is the perfect place to integrate all teams and foster creative thinking and the creation of new sporty, winning ideas,”indicate Katarzyna Chmurzyńska-Mazur, Senior Architect, and Bartosz Trzop, CEO/Architect of Trzop Architekci studio.
OTCF S.A. has as many as 4 terraces at its new headquarters. Among them, 2 of 150 sqm, overlooking the nearby Bagry Reservoir, just a 6-minute walk from the complex, and 2 facing the green courtyard. On the second floor of the building, the company has opened a state-of-the-art showroom, where product collections of all brands in its portfolio are displayed: 4F, 4F Junior, 4F Fuel, Outhorn, as well as Under Armour, of which OTCF is the exclusive distributor in Poland.
“Starting cooperation with such a recognizable brand confirms that our concept of creating functional and timeless office projects meets the needs of demanding tenants and at the same time proves how tenant-friendly our investment in Krakow is. We sincerely hope that this modern and truly Olympic-style interior will translate into further successes for OTCF on the world stage,” says Bartosz Prytuła, Managing Partner at White Star Real Estate.
A mobile application has been made available to tenants of The Park Kraków, allowing them, among other things, to access the building and office space via smartphone, invite guests to the office, dynamically manage parking spaces or reserve rooms and desks. Easy access to the underground garage with license plate recognition cameras is also provided, and electric car charging stations are available.
The B1 building is scheduled to launch key amenities: a gym, grocery store and restaurant. As previously announced, the developer has prepared extensive infrastructure for cyclists on the site (locker rooms, showers and bike racks), which will support The Park’s employees in choosing this environmentally friendly mode of transportation and using the numerous bike paths that exist near the project.
