Allegro’s network of logistics partners has expanded to include the Czech platform Packeta, with delivery offerings to 9,100 pick-up points and Z-Box parcel vending machines in the Czech Republic, Allegro reported.
“As we expand our overseas expansion, we are working with partners offering the highest quality of service. We are looking with ambition to both the region’s markets and further EU markets. We want to be the most convenient platform connecting buyers with sellers not only in Poland, but also internationally. Allegro’s promotion outside Poland, combined with increasingly better delivery and services, is sure to please sellers, who will thus be able to reach new groups of customers. These, in turn, will be able to count on a larger and more accessible offer,” said director of operations at Allegro Jakub Kloczewiak.
“Since the beginning of our operations in Poland, our goal has been to support domestic e-shops in efficient and effective expansion abroad. Opening up to other markets is, in our opinion, the future of the Polish e-commerce industry. We are all the more pleased to work with Allegro to make the Czech market even more accessible to so many Polish e-shops. By having the largest network of pick-up points in the Czech Republic and providing an intuitive digital e-commerce platform, we guarantee an efficient and satisfying logistics process for both sellers and buyers in the Czech Republic,” Justyna Andreas, managing director at Packeta Polska, added.
Packeta is the most popular Czech logistics company (known as Zásilkovna in its home market). By providing deliveries to 9100 stationary pickup points and Z-Box machines, it becomes an important step in Allegro’s growth in the strategic Czech market, it stressed.
Less than a month earlier, DHL Parcel joined Allegro, offering courier deliveries in Poland and 24 European Union countries. This gave customers from virtually the entire continent wide access to convenient and fast shopping at attractive prices offered on Allegro.com – a platform available in English, as well as Czech and Ukrainian versions.
