Panattoni, has finalised another built to suit development in the Lubusz region. The Vita Group – Europe’s largest supplier and producer of polyurethane foam – will in the second quarter of 2023 have already started using 8,000 sqm of BTS (built to suit) space in Panattoni Park Żary.
BTS Panattoni is the most experienced department of its type in the Central Europe region with a portfolio of over 100 developments. Western Poland and the Lubusz area have over the last few years become a centre for tailor made investments and due to the region’s proximity to the German border, an operations hub for many international businesses.
This superb location is already from the second quarter of 2023 to be used by The Vita Group, which is transferring its operations from one of its former centres to Panattoni Park Żary. The Park is located near the E36 expressway, which provides it with direct access to Berlin. The development is to be tailored to meet the needs of processing foam for the furniture industry and the developer is to provide above-standard fire safety features.

Panattoni Park Żary is to eventually comprise 15,000 sqm of which 8,000 sqm are to be the BTS development for The Vita Group. The development is under construction barely 30 km from the German border near to European road E36, which connects the Lubusz region with Berlin. Moreover, the park is only to be 2 hours by road from the border with the Czech Republic. The development is being built in the Gmina Żary Special Investment Zone, which makes it even more attractive to the client.
Lubusz developing at lightning speed. For Panattoni and the Lubusz region, 2023 will be a time to complete key developments. As well as handing over space to The Vita Group, the developer is to complete the construction of almost 90,000 sqm in Sulechów for BestSecret, the leading shopping club in Europe for online luxury fashion at low prices. Panattoni is also to complete a distribution centre for TJX Europe – the owner of the TK Maxx brand and a leading seller of off-price clothes and household goods. The centre is to have an area of over 60,000 sqm. Panattoni is also planning to complete a centre with an area of 15,000 sqm, which is to become one of the largest hubs of the Hermes group in Europe. The logistics centre in Iłowa will be responsible for picking and packing of online orders and value added services (VAS) for e-commerce retailer OTTO Group.
