Belgian real estate developer VGP plans to begin the construction of a warehouse in Nis, in southern Serbia, by the end of 2023.
“VGP owns around 150,000 sqm of space in the industrial zone, of which 68,000 sqm will be taken up by facilities,” Nis mayor Dragana Sotirovski said. According to her, the project documentation is still being prepared.
VGP owns, manages and develops logistics and semi-industrial real estate, operating across 19 European countries. It recorded a net profit of EUR 650 million in 2021, according to data published on the company’s website.
