Union Investment repositions former Hamburg office and medical practice building on the market

21 December 2022

Union Investment has repositioned the office and medical practice building at Hohe Bleichen 10 in Hamburg on the market. In order to position the building in a cyclically resilient manner, all rental space from the first to the seventh floor of the building has been relet or the leases extended over the past two years. The property has been part of the portfolio of the open-ended special real estate fund DIFA-Fonds Nr. 3 since 2016.

Three new long-term leases were signed this year alone: Language Wire GmbH signed a lease for the fourth floor, the fifth floor was secured by orthopedists Johannes Dilger and PD Dr. Farhad Mazoochian, and the sixth floor was leased by private GP practice Aldina Silva Mana and Allergolabor Alster GmbH. Each floor has about 320 sqm.

“With the repositioning, the building at Hohe Bleichen 10 is excellently positioned for the future, even in these special times. The central location within walking distance of Jungfernstieg is very attractive for both medical practices and office users,” says Sven Lintl, Head of Asset Management Germany at Union Investment.

Completed in 2002, the building is located in Hamburg’s Hanseviertel district, one of the most sought-after and central locations in the Hanseatic city. It has a total leasable area of 2,702 sqm and is fully let.
