An open-air project combining business functions with public green space, retail and services is planned for part of Warsaw’s Port Praski. It is being developed jointly by Polsat Plus Group and HB Reavis. The partners are already conducting internal design work and dialogue with city officials and institutions.
The joint venture between the Polsat Plus Group and HB Reavis, the company that has created such buildings as Varso Place and the Forest green office campus in Warsaw, concerns a section of the Praski Port located directly on Sokolia Street, Zamoyskiego Street and the station of the second (and future third) subway line “National Stadium.”
HB Reavis brings to the special purpose vehicle international know-how and experience in mixed-use projects of various scales, which the company has completed in Warsaw, Bratislava, Budapest, Berlin and London, among others. The entire office and retail investment in Port Praski is planned to fit in as well as possible with the local context of this part of Warsaw.
“I am pleased that we can continue to develop in Warsaw in such a unique location as Port Praski. We are proceeding to develop a project that brings high urban, architectural, business and social quality. I am confident that together with our partner we will create a multifunctional, atmospheric, full of greenery, and at the same time publicly accessible space for various users – office workers, visitors and the local community. Taking into account transportation solutions, we believe that this is one of the best plots of land in Warsaw, the development of which will contribute to the sustainable development of the entire district,” comments Sebastian Proć, CEO of HB Reavis Poland.
“Port Praski is an absolutely unique investment on a European scale. It is fantastic news that in the part intended for commercial development, it is HB Reavis that is our partner in the realization of this project. HB Reavis has tremendous experience and expertise in designing, building and managing commercial properties that serve local communities and support business. This is a great prognosis for the success of our joint project,” says Maciej Stec, Vice President for Strategy, Polsat Plus Group.
