Global Hydrogen plans to bring modular biogas plants to market in 2023.

6 December 2022

Global Hydrogen intends to bring modular micro-biogas plants to market in 2023 and has entered into an agreement with Tarpol for the design, construction, testing and technology evaluation of a prototype modular GH200 micro-biogas plant with a capacity of up to 5kW, the company said.

“The agreement with Tarpol is a step in the development of the second branch of Global Hydrogen’s business. Thanks to this cooperation, we will be able to enter a completely new area – agri-food. A microbiogas plant with a capacity of up to 5kW is a solution that will target small and medium-sized farms and individual customers. The signed agreement is directly related to earlier announcements to accelerate the commercialization of Global Hydrogen’s technological solutions,” said Global Hydrogen CEO Zbigniew Lizoń.

The project will be based on the patented SMBP (Self Mixing Biogas Plant) technology. Work on the new type of GH200 microgas plant will be carried out in five stages.

In the initial phase, it is planned to develop a design, then build a full-scale prototype that can be configured and modified during testing, as well as test the created plant under conditions that fully reflect the target operating environment. Finally, a blueprint for mass production technology will be created, which will be complemented by the construction of a production line. The cost of this project will be fully covered by Global Hydrogen. The project will also involve a subsidiary, Turbo Green Electric, which holds an exclusive, territorially unlimited, full license to use the SMBP (Self Mixing Biogas Plant) invention, according to the company announcement.

Tarpol is a biogas plant design, construction and commissioning, waste recycling and photovoltaic company operating since 2001.

Global Hydrogen is a NewConnect-listed company developing technologies in the green energy industry. Its core business includes the design, construction and sale of modular microgas plants for the agri-food sector, based on patented SMBP (Self Mixing Biogas Plant) technology.
