6 December 2022

An industrial hall with an area of almost 21,000 square metres will be built near Klášterec nad Ohří in the Chomutov Region at the beginning of next year. Investment groups Progresus, Halcyon and German GARBE Real Estate CEE will pay CZK 730 million for it.

“The family of our industrial complexes will grow with the addition of a second complex in Northwest Bohemia – GARBE Park Chomutov II. We continue to grow and now we have a strong investment partner on our side,” said Martin Stratov, GABRE’s commercial director.

The new logistics centre will build on the existing GARBE Park Chomutov industrial zone in Chomutov with a leasable area of approximately 30,000 sqm. “On behalf of Progresus Group, I can announce the beginning of a long-term partnership with GARBE, a leading international company, with whom we will work on building logistics properties in the Czech Republic in the coming years,” said Lukáš Zrůst, co-owner of the company. He added that the company will announce specific tenants in the first quarter of next year.

The logistics centre will be built near the main routes of the I/13 road and the D7 motorway leading directly to Germany. More than 2,000 people have so far found employment at the Verne site near Klášterec nad Ohří in the Chomutov region.
