As the Commission explained earlier, the bank presents a settlement proposal to which the bank’s client should respond. The bank’s customer may submit its own proposals for resolving the dispute. All settlement proposals are subject to agreement. The bank customer may ask for clarification of the provisions of the settlement proposal if they are unclear to him. If the participants have worked out an agreement satisfactory to both parties during the mediation, a settlement agreement is concluded, which must be signed by the parties or their attorneys. If no agreement is reached, the mediation is terminated with a mediation protocol stating that the parties have not reached a settlement.
