P3 Logistic Parks concluded, in Romania, in the first nine months of this year, transactions for 78,000 sqm of logistics and office space. Of the total transactions, 34 percent are new long-term contracts (26,533 sqm), and two-thirds are short-term contracts or extensions of existing contracts (51,505 sqm).
“We can say that, so far, 2022 has been a very good year from the perspective of market dynamics. Next, logistics companies have the largest share in the discussions we have with customers, followed by retailers and distributors. Although we have not felt a negative impact on the volume of transactions, we note concerns from our customers about the year ahead, given the impact of generalized price increases on purchasing power. Given the increase in utility costs, we will continue to prioritize investments in energy efficiency and sustainability measures in our portfolio, after last year we received the Very Good BREEAM-In-Use standard for all existing logistics buildings within P3 Bucharest A1,” says Sînziana Pardhan, Managing Director of P3 in Romania.
