GEODIS will stay at SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków for longer. The company moved into the building in 2013 and today leases over 4,000 sqm of warehouse and office space.
GEODIS has been present in Poland since 2001. It provides a wide range of domestic and international transport services, supporting its clients, inter alia, in the optimization of deliveries, logistics of industrial products and road, sea, rail and air forwarding. The company currently operates in 32 locations in Poland, employing over 1,400 employees. Since 2013, it has also been using SEGRO’s warehouse space in Stryków near Łódź.
“We offer a range of tailor-made logistics solutions. When we were looking for a warehouse space for GEODIS logistics nine years ago, we needed a partner who could respond to the specific needs of the TSL industry and support our market expansion. Thanks to SEGRO, we were able to rent a space in Stryków that meets our requirements and allows us to significantly improve the daily logistics services in the region. That is why we are extending the lease of the facility and thank you for the professional service so far,” explains Bogdan Młynarczyk, General Director of GEODIS Poland.
“We are extremely pleased that the SEGRO logistics center in Stryków invariably responds to the needs of entrepreneurs who stay with us for longer. Long-term, mutually beneficial contracts are now the showcase of this investment – this is also the case with space for GEODIS Poland. SEGRO’s long-term business planning method, including the guarantee of fixed energy and gas prices, which we contracted in 2021, is not without significance for the long-term cooperation, so also in 2022 they remain at the then, currently very competitive, level. In the face of constantly rising media prices, our clients appreciate not only our company’s precaution in this area, but also technologies supporting low-emission efficiency. We use them in our facilities as part of the Responsible SEGRO program, one of the goals of which is zero emission by 2030,” says Waldemar Witczak, Regional Director of SEGRO.
SEGRO Logistics Park Stryków has an excellent location: it is located on an 87-hectare site, in the immediate vicinity of two of the most important Polish communication arteries – A1 and A2 motorways, and 8 km from the borders of Łódź, at the Stryków junction. Such a location enables smooth logistics of goods and perfect road communication, adapted to the requirements of large and medium-sized companies.
