Net profit of Moneta Money Bank rose by 42.3 percent y/y to CZK 4.1 billion in Q1-Q3 and operating revenues grew 11.6 percent to CZK 9.1 billion, the bank annouced today.
Operating profit posted an annual increase of 22.3 percent to CZK 5 billion.
Return on tangible equity increased to 20.6 percent from 14.4 percent in the same year-ago period.
The positive development of interest rates, stable operating costs and favourable risk costs are the factors behind the good business results, the bank said.
Net interest income was 14.6 percent higher annually in the Jan-Sept period thanks to a higher income from loan products.
Net fee and commission income rose by 9.3 percent.
Other operating revenues went down by 26.7 percent due to a lower income from financial operations.
With total assets exceeding CZK 371 billion, Moneta Money Bank ranks among the largest banks on the Czech market.
