German cable and wire manufacturer Kromberg & Schubert plans to invest EUR 25.8 million to expand its production capacities in North Macedonia. Kromberg & Schubert will create 1,230 jobs over the next three years, according to the government.
The company entered North Macedonia in 2013, when it opened a plant in Bitola. In 2016, it expanded the plant to 43,000 sqm from 18,000 sqm.
Kromberg & Schubert produces complex wiring systems for the automotive industry. Its clients include Mini Cooper, BMW, Mercedes, and Audi, among others.
