Croatian food and pharmaceuticals company Podravka plans to invest Kuna 104.8 million (EUR 13.9 million) in a new unit to ensure own production of pasta, a strategic product for its instant soups. The new unit is expected to start production in August 2023, according to Podravka statement.
It will be located within Podravka’s existing plant for production of soups and seasonings in the industrial zone Danica in Koprivnica, in the north of the country. This will be Podravka’s first new production unit in the food segment in the last 15 years.
Podravka’s shares traded 1.64 percent lower at 600 Kuna intraday on Thursday on the Zagreb bourse.
