The Competition Council approved the transaction through which Holcim (Romania) S.A. takes over the company General Beton Romania S.R.L..
Holcim produces construction materials, specializing in the production of cement and concrete. The Holcim Group owns in Romania two cement factories, a grinding station and three cement terminals, 19 ecological concrete stations, three aggregate stations and two special binder stations.
General Beton is a company active in the Romanian concrete production and marketing market since 1998, owning eight concrete plants.
