Mladá Boleslav has acquired the last part of the land in the Debř district, on which it will build a leisure complex. It will include a children’s and soccer field. The city anticipates a total investment of CZK 22 million, the site should be ready within two years. The contract on the free transfer of land from the state to the city was approved by the representatives on Monday, Mayor Raduan Nwelati (ODS) announced today.
Part of the land on which the city will build the leisure complex belongs to the city. “The first stage is before the building permit is issued, by the end of the year construction could start,” said Nwelati. According to him, the first part will cost eight to nine million crowns. In order to start further work on the area, the city had to acquire the remaining part of the area as well, it has been striving for this for several years. The complex has a larger children’s playground and a football field with facilities.
The suburban part of Debř is located in the north of Mladá Boleslav, it is separated from other parts of the city by a first-class road, sports fields in other parts of the city are difficult to access for people from Debř. The leisure area will be created between Josefodalská Street and the Jizera River.
